The Countdown to NaNoWriMo 2017 Continues…

Will this be the year you write that first draft?  You’ll read that a lot in the coming days as writers the world over are gearing up to meet this year’s NaNoWriMo challenge.  What’s that you say? You’ve never heard of NaNo?

Well, Nowata Press to the rescue.

From their site,

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing.

On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30.

Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.

So, if you’ve been harboring a secret desire to write a novel, here’s your chance to join a world-wide community of word smiths as they power through thirty days of noveling frenzy.

I see the doubt in your eyes.  You’re wondering if it really can be done. Well, I’ve successfully drafted 50K or more words for three of my published novels.
